Aaaaaah I have a final coming up but I really don't feel like reading about Aztecs (also known as Mexica (pronouced Meshika)) waah....I like listening to lectures, but having to read articles about stuff that the teacher went over, and having to know what THIS particular author thinks sounds kind of useless to me. uuuugh.

I went to Redondo beach today! I had some yummy yummy crab...and clams.....I don't usually like clams, but since I was there, I had a couple just to be in the spirit of seafood eating. When I eat crab, I spend most of my time digging out the meat into a bowl. When I'm allll done, I put some sauce in the bowl and enjoy the fruits of my labor, gobbling spoonfuls of the crab meat. That's how I eat it...that's just how I roll!

My parents roll their eyes, and when they're done with their own crabs, they look over at me and say

"oh! you don't want this meat? I'll eat it for you"

I glare at them... ......>: (.

"nooo! This is my meat!"

I suppose I should study now. waaah.

omgomgomgomgomgomgomg

Okay, this isn't the first time I had seen this, but seeing it the second time, and actually doing some research...now I really want one!

What am I talking about?

A Nabaztag/tag!!

nazbatagtag

This rabbit does everything! Okay...I'm going to try to sum it up really easily. The rabbit connects to your wireless router, so it goes onto the internet. The rabbit wakes you up, and can read things from the internet, news, weather reports, blogs, emails. Your friends can send you songs or message to your rabbit and you rabbit will read them out loud, or play the music for you! They also do Tai Chi when they're bored, and have personality, they wake you up, randomly start talking. They can even "smell"....the example they had was holding up car keys up to the rabbit and he'll say something like "you're home!" They make different sounds, and are really customizable.

It's really hard to appreciate this unless you visit their site and look at the nice video they have that explains a lot. So much goes on that it's hard to notice though..it would be really nice to get comfortable and able to use the rabbit to it's fullest! Toooo cute!!

Click on the link above..yes yes...click it!

I almost forgot the most important thing! When you move your rabbits ears, the bunny it's "married to" (i'm sure you set this up yourself) will move her ears in the same direction..so you can create a bunny ear language with a friend!

The Simpsons movie........

It was okay! I went into expecting it to be fuuuul of laughs, but....it had its moments, but that was it. Maybe about....4 reeeally good laughs. The others were just...oOoh hahaha....or...I have already seen that part from commercials.

I even cried during the movie -__-"...I won't tell you when, but when you watch it you might know. I think....I'm in an emotional state lately. But....the scene was really touching! I wonder if anyone else cried...I need someone to relate to.

I love Maggie, always been my favorite.

Update: 2 new songs on the playlist. First one is Utada- Beautiful World, which I talk about in a post. Second is Namie Amuro- Hide & Seek. I really like both songs, Namie is addictive.

I think I mentioned that I was going to Blizzcon this year. The first blizzcon they had was in 2005 and I wasn't able to go...it was a little too expensive. There's a goody bag that you get, and it should include a beta key to something, but I'm not sure what yet. Hopefully it's Starcraft 2 related, because that would be totally awesome! And they're announcing something new as well though, and I'm not really sure what it is. I hope it's NOT a new expansion for WoW though. I need to time to settle! And no more levels please, I hate leveling.

wowscreenshot

This recent picture pretty much sums up what I've been up to in game. I have the picnic set from the rare loot card from the WoW card game. And I recently got the arena shoulders that I reeeally like. I got the arena hood awhile ago. And I finally figured out how to stand on top of the fountain in Stormwind. And yes, I still keep the bouquet of flowers in my bags because you may never know when you will want to shower someone with petals.

So, I don't raid anymore <: ( I miss it a lot, but it also depends on who you raid with and stuff...I honestly don't know boss names anymore or boss strats. I guess it's sad, in a way, but it's also good, I think. After I left Casual, I did want to raid again, but I got so used to not logging in when there was a raid, and not worrying too much about if it was a raid day or not, and I really enjoyed it. So I thought, yeah...I can't be a raider anymore. I don't mind helping out the guild if they really need someone though, that's always nice, because I really do like to see new content.

Oh, and I'm a shadow priest now. I'm not extremeley proud of it, but I did it because I had never really been it before, and I don't raid anymore. It takes getting used to...I still love healing though.

Okay, so that's it for the WoW post.

I found out awhile ago, only because I'm a Utada fan, that there is a new 4 movie part...thing of Evangelion coming out! It's called Rebuild of Evangelion.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebuild_of_Evangelion

Yeah, die hard anime friends of mine are probably scoffing at me "pft, i knew this months ago", but I was never really crazy about anime. I'm kind of picky, I have to like the art style and stuff before I dive into a new anime.

Anyway, the new "tetralogy" (that's what wiki called it) is going to be....the original series all rolled into 4 movies. Does that mean 4 hours? or 6 hours? At any rate, it's shorter than the original anime series. They probably just took out all the 5 minute long elevator rides, am I right? am I right?!?! <: P Okay, maybe it wasn't thaaat funny. Or extremeley long weird dialogue while looking at a ceiling. Seriously, I didn't understand a lot of their ponderings, maybe because it was translated.

Anyhow, I'm pretty excited about this! I've been wanting to go back and watch Evangelion...I haven't watched it since like..7th grade...that would be...8 years ago? Something like that. I'll relive my love for Rei. ^_^ It's a classic....even though it's a very weird and psychological one.

evangelion

This was my wallpaper for the longest time when I was younger and so into this series....<3

Ooooo I'm missing a couple days! Anyhow, yesterday I went to Knotts Berry Farm with Corey for his Blizzard outing....it was fun! There was a lunchy picnic thing and there were lots of people wearing Blizzard tshirts....and I was looking around....but I didn't really know anyone...80 percent of the people looked like cool people. The other 20 percent were more questionable, but who am I to judge? @_@ haha it was cool all the same. I met two of Corey's friends that both play on Hyjal! Yay....new friends. One of them was from Forgotten Aspects, number one guild on our server, and another one was from Corey's little friend guild that they call a chat room....Flying Birdies. The guy from Forgotten Aspects was a priest too! Aaaaand i've seen him around battleground a looong time ago so I was like..oOOOoo so thaaaat's you, I had nooo idea.

Usually I'm super shy when I meet new people, but for some reason, I felt like I had known Corey's friends for awhile and was pretty comfortable. I think it's kind of sad how because there is horde and alliance...I don't really know a lot about things that go on horde side...so he would tell me stuff...and I would tell him stuff.....and but I don't really recognize horde characters...and he didn't really recognize alliance characters....but I guess there's nothing you can really do about it.

Anyhow, I've been reading Harry Potter's last book, and I don't want to give spoilers, but I've been writing down the name of people who have died. Just to keep track. It is definately more....dark...and scary.....buuut there is a lot of lovey dovey stuff. My mom read the last chapter (which is really surprising since she doesn't usually read English books, but it just shows how interested she is in harry potter) and I think she likes the ending. I have to keep telling her not to tell me any spoilers, I don't want to ruin it for myself.

Thanks to Miri for getting me the book for my birthday....even though she didn't preorder it so I didn't get to have it at midnight....<: P

July 14, 2007

I saw Harry Potter last night..................!! It was okay, the ending is the best part, but because I've read the book, I thought it was okay. There was a lot of stuff missing that would have added a lot more to the plot, like how Kreacher is really devious and stuff, and because they didn't add that, there didn't seem to be much of a twist compared to other Harry Potters that had a certain twist at the end. The end kind of had a hint didn't it....things lost find a way to come back....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....just adds to my theory. I don't want to spoilt too much hehe.

Namie Amuro's new CD is pretty hot....Wang Leehom's new CD is okay, but there are more songs I like in it than the last album so I guess that's good.

July 11, 2007

I just watched Charlotte's Web for the second time today (on DVD)...and...I cried again!! Seriously, that story touches me everytime I hear it. I read the book back in elementary school, but it wasn't until now that I truly understand and cherish a story like this about friendship. I picked the book up about two years ago to read to my students, and while I was reading ahead during lunch with my mom, I burst out in tears near the end of the book. After I collected myself, I tried to tell my mom about the story, but I couldn't even tell her without starting to cry again. Charlotte did everything she could for Wilbur, and Wilbur was so naive that she put everything onto herself. She dedicated her whole life to her friend.

I also cry when I watch The Fox and the Hound. When the fox asks the hound when they were kids "We're going to be friend forever right?" and the hound goes "Yeah, forever!"....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah....Why don't they make stories like this for kids anymore? Now, it like..the grosser, the better. Captain Underpants. ugh.

I spent 5 hours today reorganizing my music using window media player today. It's pretty awesome, although this is the first time I've used this kind of program to organize my music. I had to look up Chinese characters for chinese songs and translate and stuff. Tough. But...rewarding; when I see music track listed neatly in a uniformed manner......sigh......my OCD is satisfied. It's not perfect yet though...I have lots of songs I that I don't know where they came from. The Chinese unknown songs are especially tough <: /

July 10, 2007

Harry Potter is out....I want to watch it...I have friends watching the midnight release...sigh..

I watched the baseball all star game today...Ichiro was great.....MVP! He's not as good looking to me anymore, but he's still really good and I like watching him bat sooo much. Such poise! I wonder if he trained a little ballet or something...he runs so swiftly too. sigh....

Yay American League....I can't wait for August!

Sorry so short.

July 7, 2007

So far in the past week, I've watched Transformers, Ratatouille (did I spell that write....should I look it up online....okay.....hah I spelled it right the first time), and Live Free of Die Hard.

I've wanted to watch Die Hard since it came out, but Miri and Caroline both thought it was stupid that Bruce Willis never dies or something. That doesn't seem to bother me...I want to see things explode and see amazingly impossible to explain action. Anyhow....what's the hacker guy's name? Ever time I saw him in the movie, I thought "oh! Apple!" seriously...I don't think he'll ever be able to leave the Apple image. I don't think I saw him using Macs in the movie...is he allowed to do that? Does he forever have to use Apple products? I guess that would be impossible though...but I don't want to get into that. I liked the movie. Maggie Q was hot and it was exciting to see her in an American film. I hope to see more of her.

Transformers was great, yadda yadda, and Ratatouille was pretty good too! I don't know if it's better than other Pixar works though, but those movies are pretty hard to beat or continue to keep up, so I don't blame them. I always like watching the shorts they have before the feature film; they are so creative! Can you imagine having to animate the emotion onto a character? It seems so hard to me, but they make it look so easy. A simple scrunch drawn into the top of the eye could mean something totally different than not drawing that there.

Angels won today, yay. I have to say, watching the Angels and Yankees today was so conflicting to me. I like both teams, so I guess it's a win win situation for me, but sometimes when something happens, like the Yankees make an error, part of me is like "yes!" and part of me is angry! It's really difficult.

No pictures today.

July 5, 2007

hm.......oh! Well I've uploaded a couple more new songs that I like. Here's a list you can take a look at...

Angela Aki: extremely talented vocalist and piano player! I first heard her on Kouhaku this new years. She performed this song, "Home" with such passion that I was almost moved to tears, and I don't even really know what she's saying! Well, I know she's singing about home and how nice it is....but you really need to listen to her live. Find it in you tube, she's amazing. She grew up in Hawaii so she speaks English as well, and has an exotic down to earth look.

Asian Kung Fu Generation: I'm not too into these boy rock bands, but I like this song and most of their stuff is pretty good. As long as I can't understand it, I won't know if they're whining and being emo or not, so it's okay ^_^.

MINMI- The song by her is from the anime Samurai Champloo. It's really relaxing and makes you want to stretch out on your bed and wave your hands around. > <

Mankey Majik- My recent discovery! I absolutely love their sound...it's practically like a Japanese Maroon 5, except these guys are Canadian and can sing in Japanese, although this song is in English, as are some of their other songs. I really like this song, and I found it would looking for Yoshida Brothers songs.

Mon Murmure- I discovered this will....er....downloading.....and I thought it sounded cute, and it turned out to be just that!

No Doubt- Do I have to explain this? I can sing this song and I don't even know when I remembered the lyrics.

S.H.E.- Taiwanese girl group of three singers: Selina, Hebe, Ella. They're funny and were winners of a singing contest on TV. Hebe (the cool one) is my favorite.

Shocking Lemon- similar to Asian Kung Fu Generation

Tokyo Jihen- lead singer is Shiina Ringo, funky jazzy stuff...her voice sounds Bjorkish sometimes.

Wang Leehom- See previous post about him....i had a friend who is probably the biggest music person I know sent this song to me. It was nice. <: /

Yoshida Brothers- I like traditional instrumental music, especially when it's redone and played synchronized!

So I hope you'll browse them, I like these songs.

I feel like doing a WoW write up soon. uh oh......hahaha

July 2, 2007

It's July! Lately, I've been wanting to do this...and now I finally am. Actually, I had never thought to rank the celebrities I like before. It's only that lately, I've been watching a really fun Taiwanese drama based on a Japanese manga called Hana Kimi. I kiiiiinda started to like the main boy character...but he's only alright. While I was thinking about this, I started to compare him to other people I liked, and that is how I came up with this list. I narrowed it down to 7 people, althought I probably have missed someone and I couldn't think of them at the time. Starting with 7, and ending up with first, the most favorite.

7. Milo Ventimiglia

milo

He's the token caucasian here okay? I started to like him from watching Gilmore Girls and he's my favorite love interest for Rory. I'm pretty sure 80% of his appeal is from his character in the show, Jess. The smart book reading bad boy that you had to dig deep to find his good side. Turns out, in real life, he studied at UCLA before becoming famous and likes reading the dictionary. It's too bad he broke up with Rory in real life, Alexis Bledel...they were so cute together @_@. I feel intimidated by this guy.

6. Wu Chun

Wu

He's the new guy from Hana Kimi.

Found this, how convenient. Business major! Bron in Brunei (where is that?) and opened his own fitness gym before becoming famous. It was reeeeeally hard to find good pictures of him! Maybe I only like him from the drama...he looks kind of toooo girly for me, which is why he's not high on the list. He looks like a totally good boy though right? Someone that would pat you on the head ^_^.

5. Kimura Takuya

kimura

Okay, I used to looove this guy from the old drama, Hero. But....he is getting old, and you have NO idea how hard it was to find a good picture of him. They all looked very girly and.....not manly. I have a feeling he doesn't take very good pictures, but he's awesome on screen. So, here is a clip from a commercial.

He has a lot of charm and you can see it on screen, which is probably his appeal to me. 98% charm, 2% looks on paper. Negative, he smokes. <: /

4. Takeshi Kaneshiro

takeshi

Eeeeeeeeee I've liked him for a long time too! He's part Taiwanese so he can speak Manderin. He is in both Japanese and Taiwanese movies, and I've also seen him lead in an American film speaking English the whole movie with Mira Sorvino. He's not bad! I found that great water picture just today so it's the first time I've seen it....swoon.......Negative, he smokes too. Darn these Japanese! <: /

3. Wang Lee Hom

Wang

Recent discovery. I knew of him when I was younger, like in middle school, when he first started his singing career. I didn't like him then. But now, he's growing on me because, he's not extremely girly! There is more manliness to him than a lot of the other Taiwanese guys so ....yes. I'm a recent fan and I can appreciate him now that I'm a little older. Oh! I think he grew up in New York, he can speak many languages fluently, and I mean, actually creating sentences and having a conversation: Manderin, Cantonese, English, French and Japanese. He also, like me, likes picking up new instruments to learn, including traditional instruments like the Er-hu (I've been wanting to learn this forever!). Good obedient son, people person. I don't think he smokes.

2. Satoshi Tsumabuki

satoshi

I know he looks girly, but I really liked him in the drama Orange Days. I don't know much about him, but my eyes get googly when I see him anywhere, on magazines, tv, movie cameos like the Fast and the Furious movie.......meh, he's Japanese so I'm pretty sure he smoke...not sure though, but I can assume. How does he maintain that great skin if he smokes? <: / Maybe he doesn't.

1. Keanu Reeves

keanu

I thought about this long and hard. I know there is so much wrong with this, but I haven't been able to let him go. I've liked him too long. And although he is completely messy when he's not doing a film, with weird beards, and farmer clothing, he seems down to earth and his money and fame hasn't really changed him. He's had a lot go on in his life and he is pretty grounded from what I can see. I know he talks weird too, and has weird stiff body language. Oh well....oh yeah, he's a lot older than me too. sigh....

Oh! and I just wanted to say, people like Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and etc. are a given. I don't really think I need to put those kind of people up here....they're so expected and boring so they're not here. So don't be thinking that those guys aren't on my list. They're in there somewhere. Oh, and Ethan Hawke is cute too. oh! and Hisashi from Glay....althought I'm pretty sure it will be hard to find a good picture of him too. If I put him up on my list, I think most of you would freak out.
